Ten Proverbial Lifelines to Meditate on this Week!

1. He who troubles his own house will inherit the wind. And the fool will be servant to the wise of heart.

2. The generous soul will be made rich, and he who waters will also be watered himself.

3. The merciful man does good for his own soul, but he who is cruel troubles his own flesh.

4. Whoever loves instruction loves knowledge, but he who hates correction is stupid.

5. The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but he who heeds counsel is wise.

6. An excellent wife is the crown of her husband, but she who causes shame is like rottenness in his bones.

7. Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression, but a good word makes it glad.

8. The righteous should choose his friends carefully, for the way of the wicked leads them astray.

9. The hand of the diligent will rule, but the lazy man will be put to forced labor.

10. By pride comes nothing but strife, but with the well-advised is wisdom.
